Bluegrass Hydronics and Pump (BHP) has become a leading manufacturer’s representative in the industry for pumps, boilers, tanks, heat transfer equipment and anything in between. BHP conducts business with a high level of competence, product knowledge, honesty and integrity. Our firm works closely with consulting engineers and mechanical contractors to design, sell on new construction projects, renovation projects, and replacement projects. An individual in this position should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as, a high technical/engineering ability. This individual will be asked to communicate with clients via phone/e-mail/face to face. A background in technical sales, previous inside sales experience and previous experience in the industry are a plus.
Position Summary
Responsibilities: Assisting the sales engineers from the building design process all the way through installation. · Going out on job sites to test/ inspect equipment, identify problems, and then come up with innovative solutions. · Assisting on various jobs to gain a better understanding of our product offerings and operations. · Perform quality control on delivery and install. · Analyze data, and develop spreadsheets that more accurately organized and represented data for the company. · Research on new potential projects and leads. · Meeting customers, attend sales calls, and build customer relations. · Attending company conferences to meet and inform our customers on the products and services we have. · Learn how to read construction documents and schedules accurately. · Additional responsibilities may vary based upon the immediate needs of the business. Qualifications: Current Engineering Student with at least 4 semesters completed. · Strong Academic track record (minimum GPA of 2.7). · Extra-curriculars, student involvement preferred. · Must be detail focused, quality drive, and focused on completing tasks under time constraints. · Task planning, schedule management, and delivery skills
